- I love this book. This is the third copy I have purchased, the last two being for gifts. We love feeding birds and my husband is in constant combat with his nemeses, the squirrels. It gives advice with humor and I love the story of Mad Max. Basically, you learn from it that you will never win this war. (Actually, we have a feeder which does defy them.)
- This is supposed to help you to outwit the beasts who are stealing your birdseed. Now, we who feed birds know that this really cannot be done, but this author tells you every trial that he made. He might not have helped you, but the humor with which he tells you about his attempts is worth the price.
- Not sure if these suggestions truly work, but its a great gift for your favorite gardener or anyone who battles the squirrels on their property. I gave this as a Christmas gift and the recipients raved. Well, they laughed........
